After Aunti Gluten became a Certified Patisserie & Baking professional, she turned to her dog Keeva and said "these are not the wheat fields of Kansas anymore; we need to create delicious baked goods for those with special dietary needs". Aunti recognized the need for Allergen Free baked goods that are comparable in taste and quality to traditional baked goods. Armed with newly acquired skills, Aunti started a home bakery making gluten free cookies, cakes and cupcakes. As her business grew she knew she needed a dedicated gluten free environment for her products and after several years of planning, experimenting and hard work, Aunti Gluten's Bakery opened in Pleasanton. Aunti Gluten's specializes in hand crafted gluten free cupcakes, gluten free cakes and gluten free baked goods. I can't thank you enough for squeezing us into your busy schedule, staying late to make the fondant piggies that my daughter wanted and for being in the business of making gluten free and dairy free cakes. My daughter peeked at the cake in the car and started screaming, "I got piggies, I got piggies, I got piggies!" I still have tears in my eyes thinking about the love that you two put into that cake. We learned that my daughter was allergic to dairy and eggs on her first birthday when she ate her birthday cake. Since then, the hardest part about her birthday has been the cake. A lot of times we end up getting a regular cake like all the other kids have but then we just cut that one for the guests and she eats something else. Even if I make her cupcakes, she still feels different. But not anymore! She really was proud to have such a special cake for her birthday. And delicious too!
